Welcome to the website for Holy Trinity Church – the Church at the heart of Potten End village. We are a fun, loving, welcoming and inclusive church with lots going on. This website is a glimpse into what we get up to and how we serve God in the community and beyond.
05/01/20 national lockdown update – in consultation with the Church Wardens, while Holy Trinity is not closed to public worship (we will continue to stream our Sunday 10.30am service from church), as the government advice is to ‘stay at home’, please do not come along in person and join us online. For those who are unable to watch online and really would like to attend church, please get in contact with Rev Joe as there will be limited congregation places available. To view our lived streamed services and to download orders of service, visit the Online Worship page.
During the week Morning and Evening Prayer will be said at 8am and 5.30pm respectively on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. You are welcome to join in person or watch online through our Facebook page. Our 6pm Sunday Evening Prayer according to the Book of Common Prayer will take place via Zoom – please contact Rev Joe or sign up to our weekly email for login details.
In adherence to government guidance and diocesan advice the church is open for private prayer from Monday-Saturday, 9am-5pm. We are continuing to ask that people sanitise their hands as they enter and leave, adhere to social distancing, enter their details on the ‘track and trace’ form on the table at the back, wear a face covering and not to come in if they are feeling unwell. Please use common sense!
