Music at Holy Trinity

Music at Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity has a strong musical tradition, and maintains an unusually high standard for a village church. We have a small team of professional organists who play for our Sunday services, weddings and funerals. We are also blessed with a group of professional musicians who worship at Holy Trinity.

This group works together to produce some beautiful musical pieces which enhance our special services & events. There is a small adult unrobed choir, which is augmented from outside the parish for festivals and special services; for example a ‘Nine Lessons and Carols’ Service is held every Christmas, which includes the performance of a number of items prepared by the musicians and choir.

During the Licensing and Installation of our new Vicar Rev Ben Brady, we will be singing a song chosen by Ben, Let us Build a House. Andy Smith has arranged this song and it as been recorded by a number of professional session singers who regularly record our songs, together with Esther King Smith on violin. Download the song so that you have an idea of the melody, especially if you are attending the Service on Saturday 15th June at 5pm.
