Families and young people @ Holy Trinity

While the pandemic has held us back in terms of what we have been able to do as a church and how we engage with one another, now as things begin to ease further, we are ready to hit the ground running with a varied and exciting selection activities for children, young people and families. We hope that in this offering you will find fun, inclusive and spiritually deepening opportunities for people of all ages, so you can join in and see what’s great about being a part of ‘the church at the heart of the community’.

Below is a brief list of those endeavours which are occurring over the next month or so with posters further down:

Trinity Kids (first Sunday of the month) – our Children’s Church for children aged 10 and under and taking place in the Church Room. This is a fun-packed age-appropriate time of worship.

Second Sunday Praise (10.30am) – an informal service for all, where we hear God’s word, reflect on it in creative ways and sing praises to God.

Fourth Sunday Family Communion (10.30am) – a service of Holy Communion for everyone to engage with and to participate in. We especially encourage our younger members to be involved in as much of the service as possible, from the welcome, the reading, the setting up of the altar and engagement with God’s word.

Wild Church (third Sunday of the month, 3.30pm) – an outside, creative, hands on time of fellowship, as we explore God’s world through his creation.

Rooted (second Thursday of the month, 5.30-7pm) – an exciting new youth gathering taking place in the vicarage, where we will engage, reflect and think about various issues in an informal setting over food and games.

Tuesday Gathering (10am-12noon) – ‘stay & play and social’ for all (young and old), to spend time together; to socialise; relax; enjoy refreshments; play games; and make friends.

To relaunch this autumn – Messy Church! Watch this space for further news on this time of fun, food, faith and fellowship, hopefully taking place back in the school.
